The Vanguard is a diverse, curated team of leaders that will push the boundaries of innovation at Zain. Their main purpose is to drive innovation and implementation in their respective OPCOs.

Purpose

  • By integrating cutting-edge strategies and collaborative efforts, we aim to elevate our organizational performance and sustain a forward-thinking environment.
  • Our goal is to foster, nurture, and advance a culture of innovation, ensuring that every Zainer contributes to Zain's collective success.
  • Together, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, transforming challenges into opportunities, and leading the charge in innovation across Zain.

Responsibilities

  • Driving engagement and participation
  • Leading innovation and brainstorming sessions to help Zainers generate game-changing ideas
  • Evaluating ideas based on feasibility and ROI
  • Converting approved ideas into action plans
  • Liaising with stakeholders to facilitate implementation
  • Recognizing, rewarding, and celebrating the winning ideas

Tasks

  • Weekly meetings to review ideas submitted to ZAINIAC.
  • Guide approved ideas towards implementation.
  • The minimum process and expectation in implementation is as follows:
    • Meet with the ideator of the approved idea.
    • Schedule a meeting with the ideator and stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates (minimum once every 2 weeks) on the Idea Evaluation Platform.
    • Provide guidance to ideators.
    • Follow up with stakeholders.
    • Ensure the idea gets implemented.
  • This will take many shapes and forms depending on each idea. The ZAINIAC team is always here to support. Feel free to reach out at any point to zainiac@zain.com.

Rewards and Benefits

  • Certifications on various relevant topics.
  • Public recognition on Zain channels.
  • Relevant training on innovation, creativity, idea implementation, stakeholder buy-in, or project management
  • IPP boost of up to 10% following the below criteria:
    • 5% boost upon the implementation of 3 ideas
    • An additional 1% per extra idea implemented (maximum 5%)
    • Met all Vanguard commitments
  • Monetary rewards for every implementation
