Customers First Campaign Winners

Zainiac is proud to share the highlights and achievements of our ‘Customers First’ campaign. The campaign focused on the Zain customer journey and how to effectively optimize it. Zainers across all Opcos explored the different customer pain points, new technologies and processes that can be tapped into, and much more.

We are extremely happy to share that, despite the hard work and tight competition between all Vanguard groups, the winning Vanguard for this campaign is from Jordan!

The winning ideas of the campaign are:

Mood Tracker – Sanad BinSanad, Bader Albastaki, and Maryam Ahmed (Zain Bahrain)
Details: This idea aims to regularly capture employee sentiment through a “How do you feel” survey. This data will be analyzed to identify trends and patterns on an individual, departmental, and organizational level. This approach can help prevent negative outcomes such as burnout, decreased productivity, absenteeism, or further implication of a mental health issue while also fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes employee well-being.

Offer Info Tool – Ahmed Mohamad Aziz (Zain Iraq)
Details: Ahmed created an application that will support streamlining part of the Customer Care employees' experience. Ahmed noticed that there was a problem that they faced being that they had no easy access to what offers were available and as a result created this application which is currently under testing in the Zain Iraq Customer Care Center.

Zain Rewards – Webster Ian Martin (Zain Kuwait)
Details: This idea aims to reward our customers for their loyalty. Webster wanted to create a sense of loyalty and rewards for our customers by rewarding them for their engagement and purchases through Zain via various methods. The Vanguard felt that this program has a lot of potential and will create a positive impact for Zain as well as its customers.

These ideas will each be awarded USD 1,500 upon the completion of the initial implementation step. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone who participated in our journey to make Zain the most innovative organization in the region!


Implementations:

We are especially proud of Zainiac’s first successful implementation, a series of lectures dedicated to providing summaries of the many functions of the Networks Division of Zain Group. This idea grew from the mind of our Zainer, Raja Jaleel, and developed over months of planning and hard work. Read more about our first implementation.

  • Unified Platform for Developers Across Opcos – Zain Bahrain
  • Be My Voice – Zain Bahrain
  • Zain Empower – Zain Kuwait

With many ideas currently in the planning stage, we are eager to watch Zain flourish with these implementations in the near future.


Gamification:

We have also launched an exciting new dimension of Gamification, which allows users to collect points, earn badges, rise in levels, and climb the leaderboard on the Zainiac platform. Read more about the different elements of Gamification here.


Events:

We hosted many exciting and interactive events to further the campaign and its reach, such as the Zainiac Tour, the Digital Accessibility Bootcamp, the Chief Sprint ‘A Conversation with Our Chiefs’, and our ‘Live the Customer Journey’ Sprint. These events allowed our Zainers to collaborate with their colleagues and share their fresh perspectives. Click here to read more about these.
